Mrs. Helen H. Quass, 77, wife of Ralph L. Quass, died in
Riverside, Calif., on Monday, June 6. She was the widow of Jesse Halsey, former
pastor of the First Presbyterian Church in Southampton.
Mrs. Quass is survived by her husband, Ralph; a son, Charles
H. Halsey of Westhampton; two daughters, Mrs. Joseph H. Haroutunian of Chicago,
Ill., and Mrs. James A. Van Allen of Iowa City, Iowa; a brother, Robert Isham
of Lake Placid, N.Y., and ten grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, June 9, in the
Acheson and Gram Chapel, Riverside, Calif., and cremation followed in Evergreen
Cemetery.
Memorial services will be held in Southampton on Sunday,
June 19, at 2:00 p.m. in the First Presbyterian Church.
